First time I draw with CS5 so is not my best work indeed but I'm proud of the result for now. The result and skills come with practice so of course I will continue to use CS5 it's really different than SAI ...
looking good, but it can be improved with more reflective water (less blue cliche colours) and clouds can use some secondary light sources if sun is in view..the grass is done nicely though...just do more background pieces and try to lay in your perspective. Keep it up
no problem, keep challenging your self daily. Try new drawing techniques, work faster and learn different ways to render and draw Learning is progress, but staying in your comfort zone is something I wouldn't encourage..It takes a hard skin, perseverance and bloody hard work but all the great artists went through shit to become great you know? It is something I really respect about them, they are that determined to go 'above and beyond' and their work ethos is definitely good! Anyways I digress, keep up your art work!!
I totally agree with you ! Always I do my best and work hard for result (nothing happen without intensive work) for this drawing (Rarity dream) is not good and is not my best work like I said ... But I keep working on CS5 and I work actually on a new drawing (in the same theme) and for now the result is clearly most good than the first try !
Of course I know that I have a lot things to learn after this drawing and I keep going my work after that, you can be sure !
No probs! Glad I could assist, I'm fully confident you could probably paint a similar scene better than this one..given the practice and understanding the faults of your previous painting. I'm not bashing, I just think if you want to improve ten fold you have got to put in the hours of dedicated drawing time Have a nice day
